About this trip

The 7 Days Toubkal Peak & Valleys trek is a challenging grand tour of the central High Atlas, combining the Berber valleys, the turquoise Lake Ifni, and a summit climb of Mount Toubkal (4,167 m). Starting in Imlil, you cross the Tizi Mzik pass into the Azzaden valley, trek through Berber villages to Lake Ifni — the only natural lake in the High Atlas — then climb the steep Tizi n'Ouanoums pass (3,664 m) to the Neltner Refuge. An early-morning summit push takes you to the highest point in North Africa before descending back to Imlil. This trek is for fit, experienced walkers comfortable with long days and high altitude.
